Swimming

  •  Mentored junior members of the swim team as Captain
  • Placed first out of over 200 swimmers throughout highschool in the Breast stroke at the regional and district level
  • Won 7 individual championship trophies in the last 5 years
  • Coach the junior team at school 4 hours a week

Hockey

  • Part of the senior school team: district and state level champions
  • 3 time champions at VIVUM: India’s largest student led charity event
  • Runners up at Karnataka State Championships

UPchieve

  • A nonprofit campaigning equality in education.
  • On a mission to democratize access to academic support so that all students have an equal opportunity to finish high school, attend college, and achieve upward mobility.
  • 6 weeks volunteering program where I worked directly with underprivileged students to help them overcome their academic struggles through 1:1 online tutoring and college counselling.
  • Achieved a certificate of excellence as well as for being the youngest volunteer to be onboarded

SoftMove

  •  A youth-driven organization that advocates change in society – sustainability and environmental policies.
  • Organisation aimed at changing people’s relationship with change. It believes in bringing about change through real, on ground action at the grass – root level instead of adding to the information overload by shouting loud slogans of change. It strives to slowly transition the world from “Noisemakers to Change-makers”
  • Worked with them for 2 months as the social advocate, hosting fundraisers and events 
  • Held five music concerts at local temples to raise money toward maintenance of temple facilities                

Hindustani Music

  • Learned Indian classical music for 6+ years, disciple of Sri Ramesh Chadaga, well-known Indian vocalist.
  • Held five music concerts at local temples to raise money toward maintenance of temple facilities               

Art

  • Attended visual art lessons from artist Nilofer Suleman for 7+ years
